Can I prove my BitCoin balance to a complete stranger, safely, over the Internet?

I'd like to prove, verifiably, to some contestants in a contest I'm setting up; that I'm on the level and I do indeed have a prize ready to give to the winner.
I'm not talking escrow, I don't know who specifically is taking the money yet, they haven't contested yet and it doesn't start for another 9 weeks.
So, I'm trying to offer a cash prize, and to show off the bling on flyers and stuff.
I can't write "Grand Prize 0.0005 BTC" because that looks fucking lame, right?
What can be put on the poster to really get people's juices flowing?

Can I connect my Trezor to a Casa node to check my bitcoin balance?

My bitcoin balance is incorrect

Kind of freaking out a little bit. I transferred some bitcoin into my ledger wallet this morning and after I checked Ledger Live to make sure that the transaction went through, my bitcoin balance is 1/3 of what it should be. It’s not even showing the transaction from this morning. Could it be a problem with the network not being synced? It’s a lot of money to me so I was wondering if there was anything I could try. Thanks for any help

I’m really glad that the SEC has no place on my Bitcoin Balance of Power Poster!

I recently made The Bitcoin Balance of Power Poster: https://medium.com/@AudunGulbrands1/the-bitcoin-balance-of-power-poster-91271ab31b86#.yrzdriqlh
My understanding is that the ETF had plans to "resolve" a potential coin-split by confiscation of funds...
After the split they would steal half of all the coins that belongs to its investors (one side of the fork)
And possibly dump all those stolen coins into the market and thereby dumping the value of that side of the fork.
Since the ETF would have been regulated by the SEC, this would have given the SEC a notable position of power in the bitcoin ecosystem.
Further this would have pushed the Balance-of-Power into uncharted territory.
I’m increasingly amazed of the following fact:
Bitcoin has been put together in such a way that the SEC had to deny itself a Position-of-Power in the bitcoin ecosystem!

When I check my bitcoin balance

I have Bitcoin in the old (?) "Circle"/"Circle Pay" app. I want to cash out PART of my Bitcoin balance, but the app doesn't seem too keen on people doing that. So what's an easy way to do so? (Or if there's a designated way to do it through the app, how do I do it?)

Sorry if this is a stupid question, or if it's been answered somewhere already; I couldn't find an answer with some brief searching.
To be more specific, on the "homepage" of the app, there's a tab labeled "banks" -- when I click this, it says "You can no longer buy and sell bitcoin with us. But you have options!" -- and below, it gives these options:
(1) Convert to US dollars to cash out.
(2) Move your money to any bitcoin address.
(3) Hold your bitcoin with us (it's fully insured).
There's a "convert currency" button below option (1), but I'm almost certain that method is strictly to "convert ALL currency".
The only thing I can think to do is get a new bitcoin app & send my bitcoin to that new app, then convert whatever portion I want to from there. But I would rather not do this, as it's a pain to set up one of those apps/accounts.
Thank you in advance!

help will telling me what my bitcoin balance is?

Hi, I'm trying to cash out my bitcoin on electrum but I am confused about my balance. I'm trying to send my BTC to btcmarkets.com. On electrum, it says my balance is 78.82 so I put this number in the send box and it didn't allow it. It said it was an invalid number. So I tried to convert it and I put 0.078 and the mining fee was 0.113. This was not what I wanted, I wanted to send full 78.82 amount. Now it says my balance is 78.82 - 0.1918 so my question is how do I send full amount. On the top it says i now have 78.6282 balance but this is an invalid number. please help.

PSA: Avoid XAPO, deleted account. They stole my Bitcoin balance.

So there is a user here that works for xapo, he did nothing for me.
Xapo just emailed me today telling me me account is deleted, I had money in it.
When you close an account at a bank you get your.money back.
With Bitcoin scams like xapo....they retain your Bitcoin in their personal wallets.

Trezor don’t show my Bitcoin balance

I’m freaking out a bit. Bought bitcoin in November on Coinbase. Saw how it performed and bought myself a Trezor to get it safe. 11 days ago I set up my Trezor and sendet the BTC on my wallet. I saw the bitcoins in my wallet. I set up a pass phrase to make it even more safe. Today I saw what’s shit was going on on Coinbase with Bcash. So I wanted to send my ETH to my Trezor. I haven’t checked it last 11 days since I sendet the BTC there.
When I logged in my Trezor showed me 0.00 BTC and no transaction where made. I checked the addresses on Coinbase every transaction is confirmed there.
Then I tried to disable the pass phrase - still nothing Then I changed the currency backend - still nothing Then I whipped my whole Trezor and restored it with my seed - still nothing. I don’t know what to do else, I’m about to cry.

Did I just lose my Bitcoin balance? [GDAX]

I'm sorta freaking out. Since GDAX/Coinbase aren't going to support the hard-fork, I attempted to send my ~½ BTC from GDAX to my Electrum (Tx ID bf3641db-3108-45a6-81b4-2ea391ab9560) wallet and the "Estimated Payout" just updates itself to whatever time I click the drop-down button. The status is listed as "Complete" on GDAX.
Could I have accidentally given it the wrong address? I initiated a request from Electrum and believe that's the address I gave GDAX (but I can't find a record in GDAX to double-check that, just my Tx ID). Is it just taking potentially hours because of congestion? Status is indicated as "Pending" in Electrum (v. 2.9.0), which is connected to 10 nodes.

Wallet address on trezor has changed multiple times and now my Bitcoin balance is gone

Hey everyone, any help is very appreciated! I setup my trezor pin code and password authentication and then did a test of sending 1.11 bitcoin to my wallet address. I refreshed the trezor wallet and it showed the amount there. I closed the browser and then logged back in later and it was showing 0 balance with a completely different wallet address... What I have tried so far: Forgetting the device and then connecting it again and logging back in Changing the app settings server Sending a small amount of bitcoin to the account showing the different wallet address and to a legacy account
The first wallet address I had in trezor was valid and shows up on the blockchain explorer sitting there with only one transaction and its unspent...
Does anyone have any ideas? :(

How does using my passphrase to restore my bitcoin balance work on a mobile app wallet?

Ie are my private key(s) actually stored on my phone (and the passphrase is used to regenerate them) or are they stored by the mobile wallet provider and the passphrase is used to access them and download to the app - or does the magic work in a different way altogether?
Apologies if this is a bit of a simple question but I couldn't find a straight answer easily elsewhere.
Thanks.
